WORKED EXAMPLE (illustrative Indian rates)
Tube: 35 mm diameter, 170 mm sleeve, screw cap. Laminate width = π × 35 + 2 mm seam = 112 mm; area 0.0190 m², 0.0206 m² with 8% waste
ABL 262 µ: LDPE 100 / EAA 25 / Alu foil 12 / EAA 25 / LDPE 100 = 264 GSM, ₹60.58 per m² printed
PBL 258 µ: LDPE 115 / tie 8 / EVOH 12 / tie 8 / LDPE 115 = 241 GSM, ₹55.27 per m² printed
Per tube: laminate + HDPE shoulder ₹0.42 + cap ₹0.90 + tube making ₹0.80 + packing ₹0.10 (+ ₹0.30 barrier insert for ABL) + 3% waste
Cost per tube: ABL ₹3.88, PBL ₹3.46 · With 12% margin: ABL ₹4,344 and PBL ₹3,872 per 1,000 tubes
