Terms of Service

These terms apply to your use of this website (globalpackagingnetwork.com) and the Global Packaging Network application (app.globalpackagingnetwork.com), operated by Global Packaging Network ("GPN", "we", "us"). By using the website or the app you agree to these terms.

The service

GPN provides packaging cost-calculation tools (for flexible laminates and printed boxes) and a directory of packaging suppliers. Creating an account does not by itself entitle you to any module: the Packaging Directory is unlocked by the one-time account activation payment (or by an administrator), the Flexible Laminate Cost Calculator by a paid annual subscription (or by an administrator), and the Printed Box Cost Calculator by an administrator.

Posting an inquiry is free. An account that has not paid may post inquiries, read the replies and answer them, without any payment, subject to a limit on how many inquiries it may have open at once (currently three; close one and you may post another). A free account cannot browse the supplier directory, see inquiries posted by other buyers, or reply to them. We may change that limit, or what a free account includes, at any time.

Payments and subscriptions

• Prices are shown in Indian rupees in the app and on this site. Payments are processed by Razorpay on their hosted checkout; we never receive or store your card, UPI or bank details.
• Account activation is a one-time fee. It unlocks your account and the Packaging Directory permanently and does not renew.
• The Flexible Laminate Cost Calculator is a yearly seat. Depending on how your payment is set up it either renews automatically or you renew it from the app each year; either way your renewals stay at the price you first paid, for as long as the seat stays active. If the seat ends — cancellation, or a renewal that doesn't happen — calculator access ends with it, and buying again later is at the price then current, not your old price.
• Your access unlocks automatically once the payment gateway confirms payment. If a payment is refunded, the access it paid for may be withdrawn.
• Statutory rights aside, fees are non-refundable; if something went wrong with a payment, contact us and we'll put it right.

Accounts

You sign in to the app with a Google account. You're responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your Google credentials secure. We may suspend or remove accounts that break these terms or put the service or other users at risk.

Cost calculations are estimates

Calculator outputs depend on the rates, formulas and inputs configured in the cost models you use, which change over time. Results are working estimates to support your own commercial judgement — they are not binding quotations, offers or professional advice, and we're not responsible for decisions made on the basis of them. Always confirm final pricing directly with the relevant supplier.

Supplier listings and user content

Suppliers are responsible for the accuracy of their own listings and cost models. A listing in the directory (including "verified" or "featured" labels) is not an endorsement, recommendation or guarantee by GPN of any supplier or their products. You keep ownership of content you add to the app; you give us the permission needed to store and display it so the service works as described.

This applies to inquiries as much as to listings. You are responsible for what you post, and you must not post anything unlawful, misleading, abusive, or that infringes someone else's rights — and you must not use an inquiry to advertise, or to collect suppliers' contact details for any purpose other than the requirement you have described. Any user can report an inquiry or a reply from inside the app. We may remove content, and may stop an account from posting further inquiries, where we consider these terms have been broken. This applies to free and paid accounts alike.

Sponsored placement

GPN sells priority placement at the top of the Packaging Directory. Listings holding such a placement are labelled "SPONSORED" wherever they appear, including in search results and side-by-side comparisons. Placement runs for a fixed period agreed in advance and ends automatically when that period expires. Sponsored placement affects position in the directory only: it is not an endorsement, recommendation or guarantee by GPN, it does not affect whether a listing is verified, and it does not alter the "featured" label, which remains an editorial selection made by GPN and is never sold. Fees paid for a placement are not refundable for the unexpired part of a period once the placement is live, except where required by law.

Acceptable use

• Don't misuse the service — no unlawful content, no attempts to break, overload or gain unauthorised access to it.
• Don't scrape or bulk-extract directory data.
• Don't post listings or content that is false, misleading or infringes someone else's rights.

Availability and changes

The service is provided "as is". We aim to keep it available and accurate but don't guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, and we may change, suspend or withdraw features. We may update these terms; continued use after an update means you accept the new terms.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law. Subject to that, we're not liable for indirect or consequential losses, loss of profit, or losses arising from reliance on calculator outputs or directory content, and our total liability in connection with the service is limited to £100.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
